awhile ago when i had my rear part of my xenon body kit's adhesive tape failed and the side of the bumper fell on top of my muffler and it burned the crap out of it, so now i need to get a new rear bumper, this time im getting a complete replacement, and i think im gonan have to get a new muffler for my cat-back now cuz ithas black crap all over it from the bumper.
so my question is is there any chemicals or anything i can use to get the black burnt body kit off my muffler and where can i get a rear bumper for cheap and which one will flow nicely with an xenon front and side skirts?
thanks guys and girls

Rep Power: 294 some sort of acid or alchol will eat the plastic away. Try goign to a hard ware store and picking up a bottle of pure acetone. It will take some time, but it will eventually come off, and clean your tail pipe too! Be careful working with it though, it will eat or die your clothes and dry your skin out. Best to get some thick rubber gloves, that you don't mind tossing when you are done. If it is a stock pipe without chrome or anything, get a wire brush and scratch off after the acetone has loosened it up, but be careful agian because th wire bursh will fling the acetone every where, so it will get on you and your bumper, but if you're replacing the bumper, who cares?

Rep Power: 275 same problem happened to me, just my hangers where messed up and it melted the bottom of my stock bumper, after i fixed my hangers, drove my car around so the exhaust was REALLY hot, then i took a think rag, and whiped the exhaust, the plastic was comming off, i did this like 5 times and now there is very minimal plastic left on it, and thats only cause i got lazy and my fingers where burnt lol
