Honda Payments..**Updated**

I got an invoice from Honda a few weeks back saying I owed them a full payment. I call them and of course on a Friday afternoon, 15 minutes before closing their computers are "down". I never got anything figured out from them just due to the fact that I haven't had any time. I checked my bank account today and they took 2 full payments out of my account, I always have one coming out on the first of the month but I had a second one taken out. I never authorized them to take out a second payment and also I haven't missed a payment, and I have my bank statements to back that up.

Anyone ever have anything like this happen to them or have any advice other than call and bitch(which I can't do until Monday now). They basically abused the pre-authorized debit system by taking money out of my bank account without my authorization.

**** I'm pissed.

One time I got charged for 2 body kits. 778$ + 778$ = a lot. What I did was faxed them the bill and told them they charged me twice and they took care of it.

any form of automated payments or debits gives the company your paying to basically the entire rights to go into ur accounts, they'll check ur spending, balances, where ur spending and the banks allow this because most of these companies we pay have accounts with our banks or their affiliates.

A wise man once said "you dont order pasta at a steak house" so why would you get your car financed through a car company. Let car the car company do what the car company does and let the banks do what banks do. Most credit unions s&%t on factory finance rates and I didnt even need a down payment.

qualifying for that rate at 19 is impossible. Then even if you do have enough credit history i have seen young people with scores in the 720 range get turned down. plus then you end up with a comapny thats not really a bank trying to become a bank. too many middle men. and bam you end up getting dp'd.

I have got 0.9% at 19 when I purchased the car. As long that you always make your payment on time, you can have anything that you want. There are alot of factors that go into financing. If you guys have any questions just pm me or message me at hondapower05@yahoo.com

i have made every payment on time since i was 18. I have financed 2 cars and have never been out of work. the least i have ever made was 25k a year. I have racked up and paid off 3k in credit card debt. Yet even today no one outside of my personal bank will ok me for financing. It kills me. I know its not id theaft. I have checked checking for id theaft is what i do for a living. But basicly i take great pride in personal responsility. Yet i cant get approved for anything. Yet guys who are 27 who have 3 kids and dui's qualify for these programs and it kills me. I always get the same response "not enough credit history" my visa expires this feb yet i dont have enough history.

I hear ya on the whole credit thing. Its messed up. Even when applying for a new credit card, me and a friend of mine went into sears, both applied for their cards at the same time, ive got 2 more years of GOOD credit history than he does, and he has high balances on his other cars and a loan still out. He gets a credit limit of $2000, I get $500. I just dont understand how the whole thing works, it makes no sense. The only conclusion I could come up with was, they saw he had high balances on his other cards, why not give him a higer spending limit because they KNOW they can make the interest off him. Still it sucks, I dont get it.

I got 1.9% at 19. I just make my payments at honda's ownerlink web site. You can monitor your balance, recalls, order parts a little cheaper than from the dealership, and even schedule maintenance if you need it.
