As for winter
well get some good winter tires and some steelies, also get a block heater so you can plug your car in to keep the engine block nice and warm , it makes it alot easier on cold starts and your car heats up right away, also get some winter windshield wipers.....
also put an emergency blanket , flares and a small shovel in the trunk...
Do it you nevr know what can happen
peace bro

Viper, i don't think it will get bad enough for a snow shovel! LOL, i know your prolly not too familiar with the weather in the Carolinas. My advise man, park your car for the winter, buy a beater, my car was put up 2 weeks ago for the winter, i'm driving the Blazer now until next year.
Heres some tips when it comes to detailing for winter, some really good info. http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=235692
no no no! keep your tires, they are fine. I lived in Raleigh for 22 years and now I'm in Greenville, NC... our winters are NOTHING! no block heater either, sheesh, save that money! IF it does snow here it is like 1-2inches max, minus the 22" we got that one year, that was a fluke, AND if that does happen, just don't drive! We all know school's and work's in NC are cancelled if 1 freakin snow flake falls, so if you need to go somewhere and are really that scared to drive your car, ha, then use your parents. But seriously, don't worry about it, our front wheel drive civics with your stock rims and tores(appear to be anyway) are fine. NC winters are nothing. If there is snow or ice, drive slow. That's all you need to know.
