Say goodbye to the Prizm - I am now an 02 civic owner again
We are trading in my 01 prizm LSI tomorrow. My wife is getting an 06 4wd V6 Kia Sportage tomorrow. We are leasing it for 2 years, and they are giving me $4300 for my car. I am taking over the lease on my wifes Blue 02 Honda Civic EX Coupe.....with 22k miles. The lease is up in september though.
I am pretty excited to be getting rid of the Prizm and taking over the civic....Even though my payments will be more......

because we just bought a house and I want to try to eliminate some of our payments that we make each month. The civic is a great car but I would rather trade it in.

I would never sell my screen name - I love it......
i have no idea what is wrong with the prizm...but its got 52k miles on it and it has been running really bad...Has no power, makes noise, and hesitates. I owe $3700 on it, and it is only worth $4300 on a trade. Believe me I am happy to get rid of it. The sportage is only $199 a month for 2 years, and its like $40 a month for for the payment then the Prizm was, but the Insurance is actually cheaper on the Kia Sportage - go figure.

Thanks - that cavelier was sitting under a tree in a dirveway for over 6 months. Wish i took before pictures.
Well we picked up our 2006 Kia Sportage on saturday. It is white with black interior. It has aluminum looking trim on the dashboard and door panels.
It is a V6 with 4wd.
Standard ABS, traction control, Cd radio with 6 speakers that sounds great, and 6 Airbags all standard.
The truck also has full power.
It rides smooth, the engine is quiet and it has a lot of power. Also there is a lot of room on the interior.
I know your going to say its a KIA, but KIA is now owned by Hyundai and the truck got 5 star reviews from JD Powers and any website that I researched the truck on. I cannot complain for $1500 down and $199 a month for two years. Where are you going to get a $21,000 truck for that price.

Yes its an SUV - I didnt take pics yet. I will after I wax it this week. I wasnt too happy with the way they cleaned the truck. The sales guy told the prep guy I was a car detailer, and he still left plastic on the interior, and glue marks on the exterior. I got to the dealer, and asked for a rag and some Aftalyne. I was in the parking lot wiping the truck down - I told the sales guy I was going to tip the prep guy but now I think he should be tipping me lol....I used to prep cars for Porsche, VW, Audi and also ford. You dont let a car goto the customer the way mine was looking.
