what kind of car? coupe/sedan color? green coupe? i would say black housing looks cleaner and will have more light output. black tyc projector will also look nice though. i would say go jdm

I like the look of the TYC, but dunno about the actual quality of light output... But at the same time, blacked out headlight looks really good

Curious on the 01-03's what is the light in the middle of the headlight for, my 05 doesn't have it, and one dealer in town has no idea what they are for. (I asked).

I had the same problem deciding thatwhen i got my tycs about a year ago. little longer now. Was gonna go the jdm look, but i didnt want to ruin my stock lights incase I wanted to go back to stock, and not pay a ton to get new ones. Then I decided if i was gonna pay for headlights I might as well get something different. So I went with the tycs, like those better than the other style projectors. That was my reason for going with them, and still am glad I did. Look sexy with eyelids.

As for as light output. It is worse, but only slightly. And the Brights on them kick ***. Lights up everything! I would say better than stock brights. So for those times its a little darker than I want, just flip those brights on, and no problem.

Recently i have been considering an HID kit. But most people say they are a waste, and to just retrofit. So Thats my plan, just wait, will be worth it in the end.

Whatever you decide it will look good, I keep considering switching to the JDM look at times. But I'm lazy, and still like what I have.

It all depends on what u want. IMO TYC's with eyebrows Look better than blacked out stock headlights, But the light output is worse. I would rather be able so see the road at night, so i switched back to stock. But whne i get a retrofit, I might go with the tyc's again.
