Rep Power: 285 i was wondering if that was possible. i need new headlights like that because the housing on mine is oxidized and crappy looking. did you have to cut slits in the headlight in order for it to fit?

Rep Power: 268 I had to make one slit on each side to make the amber pieces fit. Aftermarket headlights and oem are diff shapes and cannot be combined. I tried to use oem reflectors(to keep an oem beam pattern) with an aftermarket lense and it didn't work.

Rep Power: 410 ^it looks like the chrome was tinted. this is different from the DIY black out headlights or clearing headlights because, well, you can't really make black chrome at home.

Rep Power: 410 you may be able to achieve the same effect by spray painting a coat or two of tint spray paint on the chrome. just a suggestion to anyone who still has chrome inserts

Rep Power: 249 Wow, that's a lot of trouble to go to for such a minor change, but hell ya know what? I like it, and it shouldn't matter if it took you one hour or a hundred hours. I like the fact it's unique and done well.
Also, I recall seeing spray paints in the store that are intended to be used on chrome parts, I just don't know what the final result would be, if it would be anything like this.
