I got a mugen cf style front lip for my 04 after reading the thread about them fitting.....mine doesent even come close to fitting what so ever and I have no idea whats up. It is the 99-00 lip i made sure of that but I have no idea whats going on and im down 200 bucks right now

as you can see, it looks liek that kind mounts the the bottem of the bumper???Its really messed up.

its a lip. it does mount on the bottom of the bumper. other people have made that same lip fit perfectly i think.

yes it doesnt go on the very bottom it hangs on the lip of ur oem bumper...my friend just got one to fit when he just tried it on at a local shop so he bought it and hes doin an install during the weekend

i see what u mean...the top part that hangs on the bottom of the bumper is too long...u should try cutting it to see if it fits

from the pics i seen thats not a mugen style lip. thats a spoon style lip and it need to be mounted from the bottom of the bumper. what u to is take off ur bumper. flip it upside down. mount and fit the lip on the lower front edge from the bottom, do not fit it over the bumpers lower lip. after u fitted and mounted it on the bottom, use self tapping screws, bolts, nuts and washers, or the hardware supplied with it to mount it. you can see an example of this lip mounted on a 7thgen through 1llmatic's member rides album. its the one when hes on the dragstrip. the only problem i see u encountering is how the o4 and up civics have that sort of built in lip or flare on bothsides of the lower part of the bumper. kind of like teeth in a way lol.

dang that sucks man. would have been nice to see an CF lip for the 04+ civic. I want to get one for mine, but I dont know if I will anymore since these dont fit...

I just got my 99-00 mugen lip on tuesday and I took it to the shop for fitment, and it fits fine.
Im getting it painted and installed on monday.
