well i need a new serpentine belt because the one i got works for AC and PS and i only have some of the parts for the p/s nothing for ac. so i need a 51" belt. don't know where to order it from though... then i need the bolt that holds my crank angle sensor in... its on back order from hondaautomotiveparts.com. i also have to weld my front radiator support and put the radiator back in.
Question: Why did you go with the a3? Why not the a2? Isn't the a2 the Type-S motor? Also, is there any trouble with the motor fitting in the bay since the intake manifold is so close to the front end?

I found a k20a3 for $900 bucks in Stanwood, WA. yeah you need to hack away at your radiator support to fit the intake manifold in. you just have to reweld it. not too hard. I plan to get either RAzz Cams and K-pro or Save and swap a Type R head on it. with a 6 speed tranny.

But when I do mine I'm just gonna look for all of the stock components of a Type-S and just do a total under-the-hood swap, tranny and everything all at once.

Also, how hard was it to install your clutch/brake pedals for the swap, alot of drilling?

I dropped the motor in from the top. it was really easy with a engine hoist. The clutch and brake pedal swap was kinda a bitch because of the location and postion of them. once i got the old brake pedal off it was easy to install the new one. The clutch master cylinder installment was a bitch but thank god that was done when there was nothing in my engine bay. With the EX model there was no firewall drilling needed it was already pre-drilled for the clutch pedal just had to make the cut for the clutch master cylinder and put it in there.

I think I havn't spent that much money as it would cost others.
