Rep Power: 257 dynoed my car, pics
sup guys, i got out to a dyno today and made some pulls. i had some problems with the way the shop was making the pulls, and the car had a hard time spooling to anything more then 8.5 psi. also, i had some nasty surges with the boost in the upper RPMs as you can see in the pics. also i found out after the runs that a bolt came off my exhaust and i had a sick leak at the downpipe, so it wasent a very good day at the dyno, never the less, i pulled out 177 whp and 149 ft lbs of tourque at 8.5 psi
mods are:
kms intake
sf turbo kit @ 8.5 psi
act hd00 clutch
greddy profec B boost controller

Rep Power: 346 nice numbers but damn... that graph is all over the place. You need to do more pulls now that you fixed the problem.

Rep Power: 0 hehe umm you should probley mess with the set gain on the boost controller. WHat is the max boost that you have the greddy profect set to? If the set gain is set to close to the max boost pressure you will get boost spikes in the higher rpms. I had the same problem.

Rep Power: 271 Your really supposed to do it in 4th from what I've been told. Your hp numbers may be inflated by a few hp and your torque might more inflated because of the 3rd gear ratio.

Rep Power: 273 I too am interested in the performance you got out of the KMS manifold. The design always looked sketchy to me but I want to keep my TB top mounted and KMS is the only one that does that. Did you notice a differance when you installed it or is it basicly not worth it.

Rep Power: 257 i noticed a hell of a difference when i put the KMS intake on. prior to the intake, i had alot of problems around 9 psi, where it would either break up on me or the boost would not be constant. after the intake, i notice that the boost is alot smoother and is more constant, this is just my experence tho, other members say they are running like 9psi daily with a fully stock motor and not feelin any of these problems. it also feels like it boost quicker and stronger. anyway like i said, these are my thoughts
