selling car question

I was just wondering. My car has 22,000 miles on it (ex 03). If i put all the stock stuff back on, and fixed the paint (current insurance claims). Would it be easy to sell my car close or just under the kbb value? I want to get something cheaper because I only make 500 bux a month and i have to use 290 to pay for my car. So If i could sell this car and get a old hatch or something then I would be happier with my car and not really have any payments to make. For instance, if i listed it in autotrader and maybe the newspaper, would there be a lot of people interested? I dont' want to turn the car back stock and fix the dents then end up not selling my car. Thanks for the help.

civics can get kbb all day long aslong as you are willing to wait a month or 2. i would put the stock stuff back on aslong as you dont need to spend any money to do so or create holes. as far as fixing the dents go it depends on how many you have where they are and how much it will cost.

as far as putting stock stuff back on.. ill have to pay someone to put my springs back on and buy new headlights and get wheels. So itll cost me a few hundrend dollars. As far as the dents, i have my fender smashed in, theres no paint damange and a dent on my rear panel. Ill only have to pay 100 deductable on each part, because of the insurance claim. So all in all it might cost around 500 bux or a little more to put my car back to stock. Also, my car came with the "si" alloys. When i went to trade my car in before they said the alloys were really important to the dealership in terms of getting a high trade value. But if i sold my car privately, would steeles with oem hubcaps be okay? Because i doubt most people won't even know the difference of what came with the car or not. Isn't there a certain time when u get the most for your car? when is the best time to sell a civic?

also, i got the extended warranty when i got the car, the one for like 10 years or whatever. Can't i get my money back for that since it hasn't started yet? Or should i sell my car with that?

with civics try going over the KBB value, and you should be good
