So I'm at work on the beach today and I hear a familiar car alarm sound in the distance. So I walk over to it and find a Yukon XL sitting on the hood of my car! Grrrrrrrr.....my cf hood is cracked, the bumper has a nice scratch and my grill is cracked.
The guy who backed into me was asking how much the hood was. I told him I paid $800 for it. He was like well I'll give you a check for $1000 and we can call it even? Heck no!!! I also have to get my front bumper fixed now and get a new grill.
The pisser about this whole thing is that I park way out at the end of the employee parking lot. At least 100 feet from anyone else. He shouldn't have even been in the parking lot. I dunno how out of all of that space, he ended up hitting me.
Now for a few pics....

Not if its a Seibon hood. A VIS hood however that $1000 would have made work.
Figure:
VIS OEM Style Hood - $460
Altezza Grille - $64.95
OEM Replica Bumper - 69
Paint/Labor - $270
Total = $863.95

Why do you need a new bumper? It can be repaired. If you went through insurance they are not going to replace the front bumper for that damage. Sucks it happened though. But at least it wasn't a hit and run.

You could have it appraised at a shop for alot more and then have them cut the check and you could go somewhere else to have it done cheaper. CF hood and bumper grille paint, and then left over money for some mods.
I just burnt my tongue

lol 800 for the cf hood is ridiculous, i paid 350 for my vis and have had no problems at all, i also got a oem style front bumper for 70 and my altezza grill off ebay for 30
hood: 460
bumper: 70
grill: 30
total: 560 + labor
you just gotta know where to shop.. then again you are playing it safe so thats cool too
