Hey, So I got my local autobody shop guy to put in my sidemarkers, they are jdm dc5r ones. I have to get them wired up yet but he did an AMAZING JOB, i suggest you all use the dc5 sidemarker template if you want it done properly, I can use the clips for it and it comes off just like oem ones. Lemme know what you think, I will have better pics tommorow when the car is washed and not at such bad angles...
EDIT< damn pictures are too big hang on

Rep Power: 273 yea, he is an amazing bodyshop guy, he specializes alot in hotrods, so he does awsome work, the lights cost me 40 dollars canadian, and body work 40 also, but imo it was WELL worth it, I could have never done a job like that, when i put them in the snap in and work soo good.

Rep Power: 295 i can do that...i too used the template from the dc5...i use snap-on air tools to drill my hole...i have em wired up too...but only thing is u cant have them blink and be on all the time...unless u use a relay...but u can have them on all the time or just off and blink when u signal...i have it wired oem style where it only blinks...the tools i used were:
body file, di-grinder with a cone tip, rotary cutter, air drill with different bit sizes and sheet metal nibblers to remove metal where it is needed...ill take some pix after i wash my car tomorrow

Rep Power: 787 you CAN have them on and blink. just hook one wire to signal power, and the other to parking light power. No relay required!

Rep Power: 787 i've tried it and it DOES work. Both of the sidemarker wires are hooked to power. One to signal power (green), the other to parking light wire (red). When one is being used, the other acts as a false ground. You obviously haven't tried it or you will see it works.

Rep Power: 295 not to flame but if u've done it before than why are u scared of cutting into the body...and if u have the skills it shouldnt be a problem to cut into the body because u know u can do it...like i did...heh...but hey everyone is cautious when it comes to cutting into fenders of a new car

Rep Power: 787 when one wire is used for power, the other power wire acts as a "ground."
This will make signals flash in sequence with front signal when parking lights off. When parking lights on, sidemarker will be on. When parking lights are on and signal is used, it will flash alternately with the front signal.
