give me opinions on new cars
I am willing to spend 25000 sticker price (a little less than 25, or right around there after taxes)
I am looking at so far, and like in this order
Mazda6 s (new one 220hp)
Impala SS (340hp)
Charger (unsure, havent checked em out)
350z
G35
Give me some opinions. I would MUCH rather a 4 door though, which is why those 3 are on the top of the list. I have 2 kids/1 carseat. I hate 2 doors when putting them in. So it needs to be a 4 door, it definately NEEDS more or the same power I have right now (I was at 10psi). Give me some opinions.
These cars I can not afford, or just plain hate and dont want
SRT4(hate it)
EVO (too much insurance)
sti(too common/insurance)
those are the most common, and driven by mostly ricers who dont know what their driving, IMO.

If I was in your shoes though, I would get the Subaru Legacy GT, maybe you can find a 2005 at a year end clearance deal or something, I think they generally start at 26k. But I live in snow 6 months a year, so AWD is REALLY nice for me.
Volkswagen Jetta or passat TDI. They're kind of slow stock, but all you need is a chip and larger down pipe and they are plenty fast.
Accord V6, Camary V6, both are peppy cars
Corrola, cheaper, but the TRD option can make it pretty quick car.
Just a few other to pick from
Legacy would be my choice though, my friend got one and I loved it.

G35 is available in 4 doors too, y'know. Otherwise, a Legacy GT is a good choice too.
I say skip the VWs ... they still haven't gotten all of their act straight; their 5th gen Jetta/GTI only emphasizes this more.

Im not too big of a fan of VWs. I can see a used Subaru dealer from my bedroom window. Its right across the street. They actually had a used legacy gt out front. Ill have to check it out. I REALLY like those cars.

Yeah, VW's have been having issues lately.
Those legacy's are nice :yup: Not quite as sexy as the G35, but I think they are a little more sporty, but I really haven't driven a G35 to the limit yet.
ohhh, i forgot about the Legacy GT. I was at a local subby dealer checking out the WRX.... I asked if I could drive it because this huge dealership has a test track out in the back. I went out there and took the WRX for a few spins..... then the salesman asked if I was interested in testing the Legacy GT in manual and I said sure.
Well, the WRX felt slow compared to the Legacy GT.... that car pulls so freak hard. The only difference between that car the the WRX is the handeling.... Legacy is kinda sluggisg around the turns with body roll and mushy steering but speed wise it was rediculous.
I saw a Legacy GT run a 14.3 at the local track... I think thats what they run stock.
Definatly look into it

BMW's start at $30k a little more than wht he wants to spend, but heck yeah, if you can float an extra 5k, I would go for BMW.
G35
You are lucky you are in the State.
BMW starts at 30300$ US that is about 36500$CD. However in Canada, BMW starts at 39500$CD.
That is 2500$ US more expensive, it is more than the NET monthly salery of average american.
