GRRRR

I get out of bed at 6 fcukin o-clock to go to work. I don't have time to make breakfast as usual so i grab 10 bucks to get some krystals before i go to work. I go to Krystals, pull thru the drivethru, and the sound of aluminum on curb rings in my ears. I get my food, pull over, get out. I just severely curbed my front driver's side brand new Ikon MR-7 18x7.5s, which are less than a week old!!!! I run my finger along the damage. Boom, big azz metal splinter in my finger. Then I get to work late about 7:05 (front desk clerk at a holiday inn). The night clerk hasn't delivered reciepts to the room, which is her responsibility, not mine. She runs off, so I have to do that. I don't finish that till 7:40, and the head housekeeper is already at work, and i haven't even started her reports so she can do her job, plus everyone from breakfast is coming to get thier receipts and wondering why there wasn't one under thier door in thier room. Then some guy complains his fridge doesn't work, so I go give him a new fridge, and i have to get it out of another room cause our cheap azz owner won't buy any new ones. I do that, and the breakfast hotess starts b!tching that there are people at the front desk waiting to be helped.

Finally I call my parents to ask what I should do about this metal splinter, and my finger is numb at this point. I b!tch and moan about my wheels. My dad, who's a mega-baller, finally says he'll take it to see what repair will cost, or if we should just purchase a new one. And the head housekeeper gives me a 24-pack of miller lite that was left in a guest room.

Sorry. end of rant. I feel much better better now.

that sucks, that happened to my 18 inch buddyclub japan racing rims!!! its gunmetal with a Chrome polished lip.

I was fighting with the gf one day and wasnt careful pulling out of a parking spot. My left rear was curbed slighty.

But worse was my right rear curbing, i was backing up ina straight line, but not so straight becuase my alignment is off!!! so right into the curb it went, atleast half of the rime is chewed up.

not so big ballin but I now I would have had heart failure the first time that happened to me -

since i got them used, it all just blends in - LOL

you should have a local place that can fix the lip for cheap.. I think I was quoted 75 $ to fix all 4 of my tenzo shu-4's that my wife curbed while I was gone..

curbed wheel sucks more than beer rocks....
it's like I was at 0 when I woke up, -10 when I curbed the wheel, and -3 once I got beer. If she had given me a quarterpound of herb and let me smoke some here at work, maybe i would have been back to 0.

1. yes; i don't usually go thru drivethrus, i only did because i didn't feel like cooking breakfast. plus i'm used to the little 15s that would have just rubbed the tire.... I was digging in my pocket for the money and rolling at like 2 miles an hour.
2. i couldn't believe that it happened, so my first response was to touch it to kinda confirm to my mind, "yes your wheel is fvcked up"

hehe, i cant curb my rims cuz the tires are 205/50/16 and on top of that they're flat black rims so i'm safe.
