Civic '01 and up TINTS

Civic '01 and up TINTS I have a 4dr green sedan '01 civic. Just wanted to know what kind of tint would look good with this car. I was thinking about those metallic tints, the mirror-like reflecting tints.. but i'm not sure yet. I've seen an exact same car like mine with regular dark tint and it looked pretty ugly... and i think i saw it on cardomain.com. anyways, post some photos with tints and give a little explanation about the tints. or just give some info/tips/suggestions about tints. THANKS

i personally have 20 percent on my ride. thats ontop of the stock tint that came with the ex feature. it looks nice. look at my pics. i have a 2door and got it on my front windows also. some states have a law that says its illegal to have reflective tint, mirror tint basically. i live in ga so the legal limit is like 32 but they keep changing it around. reseach it some. anyway, 20 and darker is nice on any car. good luck with it.

Rep Power: 0 that's gay, i think most mercedes come with mirror tint. well, mirror tint is out of the question now. alright, now what i wanna know is what kind of tint is light and what is dark.. as in percentages. What tint % will let you actually see the person inside? what % will let u see the outline of the person? and what % will be basically illegal?

thats 35 % sorry but it looks like no tint but that also could be the way the lights r on the car

I wouldnt do the mirror tints, straight fugly if you ask me.... Green car, i would say a dark tint but not to dark, depending on what ur doing with ur color scheme as well.... Mine is 5%, but there was a couple reasons why, first of all my color scheme is silver, gunmetal and black, so it goes with it, plus, im in FL so the most pertection i can get against the sun with out it being that mirror the better.

5% - Limo - Cannot see in car
20% - Dark - Can see silhoutte of people but cannot see faces
35% - Light - Can see people and make out faces
The lower the percentage, the less light that is let through by the tint. 0% means no light gets through.

Rep Power: 334 Over here legal is 35%, so I ordered the dudes to put up 40%, just in case (police here are very strict... and stupid).
Well, the 'lice sent me to take a test for the tints and it came out 48%!!!!
I dunno about that shiz but...
I know it looks nice with the "40%" the dude out in it.

As of right now, this is 35% TINT. it looks hot in these pics, but just lets 2 much light in. Next week, i am getting them re tinted 15% on the back three windows and 20% on the front. That should look good

Rep Power: 0 depends alot on where you are cus I know like less then %25 visablility in my area on the doors of the car is illegal. I got a tint ticket on my last car cus mine was 4%. my new civic is legal on the doors and the back windows and rear window are blacked out
