You will need a camber kit rear & front unless you wanna be buying tires every year. I had a 2" drop last year but it'd always bottom out so I went with Sportlines 1.4" drop. SPC makes a great camber kit too for like $140 front & rear...

I did a 1.7 drop front and 1.5 drop in the rear and checked my camber. Camber wasnt bad enough to get a camber kit and the only thing i would need to noe is fix my toe.

so are camber kits even that expensive?

Ya i think this one guy at a local store tried to rip me off saying springs are 200 for front and 200 for back when isnt it usually like 200 for both? then he tried to charge me 400 on top of the 400 for springs to install it....screw that.

But how much of a drop should i go with to make 18" rims ride close to the body if u know what i mean?

to get the most out of your suspension and to get your car aligned properly, you should always use a camber correction kit.

What size tires do you have?? Are you refering to wheel gap?...if so, it depends on the wheel/tire size combination and the drop you give your car...I myself got 16" wheels with almost stock size tires to eliminate wheel gap, but as a consecuence my tires were rubbing because my car is also dropped; therefore I had to roll my fenders...so you have to keep all that in mind. You can also use the tire calculator to help you...

it all depends on what you are looking for like me 1.7 wasnt enugh for me so i went with a 3.5 yes it rides a little rough but fo me its worth it and you are saying a 2 inch drop it all depends on what components you are using
