Need some help with lowering a 04 Okay, i was gonna get a 2" drop, but turns out i need a camber kit. SO what would give me a nice drop for a good price thats easy to install. ANy deals or what is a good reliable place to order them? thx |
i dropped mine 3.5 you only need rear camber kit the front dosent change you can get the rear camber kit from obx for 50 |
You will need a camber kit rear & front unless you wanna be buying tires every year. I had a 2" drop last year but it'd always bottom out so I went with Sportlines 1.4" drop. SPC makes a great camber kit too for like $140 front & rear... |
I did a 1.7 drop front and 1.5 drop in the rear and checked my camber. Camber wasnt bad enough to get a camber kit and the only thing i would need to noe is fix my toe. |

neuspeed springs and koni yellows(bought it off from Skipbarber) |
so are camber kits even that expensive? Ya i think this one guy at a local store tried to rip me off saying springs are 200 for front and 200 for back when isnt it usually like 200 for both? then he tried to charge me 400 on top of the 400 for springs to install it....screw that. But how much of a drop should i go with to make 18" rims ride close to the body if u know what i mean? |
to get the most out of your suspension and to get your car aligned properly, you should always use a camber correction kit. |
^^I agree...

okay then if i should go wit the camber kit either way would u guys recommend the 2.0 drop? |
i got sportlines on my 04 and no camber kit. drops good and havent had any problems |
it all depends on what you are looking for like me 1.7 wasnt enugh for me so i went with a 3.5 yes it rides a little rough but fo me its worth it and you are saying a 2 inch drop it all depends on what components you are using |
