What's the average price to install & paint a full body kit?
I called a few places and they all quotes about $200 for install and another $300 for paint. So $500.00
I was considering painting the entire car but was told to just paint the body kit since the factory paint is a lot better then most of these places unless your willing to spend the extra $$ for it.
I know you get what you pay for but my paint job is still really nice - the car is always parked in a garage at home and at work and is washed weekly - have a buddy you owns several Self service car wash and always hooks me up (Touch - Free wash).
But what's the average price most people here are paying for an install and paint.
Thanks,
Mike

Rep Power: 274 As with anything, especially paint, you get what you pay for. Go the cheap route and you will have to worry about it peeling, flaking ect and end up costing yourself even more money to repaint. A few things i learned during my kit painting experience
1. Make sure they computer color match the color. If its 3 years or more, there is a chance your paint may have faded a little, mine did. Take off your gas lid and have paint matched to that.
2. flex adhesive MUST be used to prior to painting. bad thing about this is it can alter the color a little.
3. Spend the extra and get polyurethane, youll spend even more mony with cheap fiber glass kits as they need cutting/sanding ect.
Around here cheap quality places wanted 300-450 to paint, better quality shops will quote 600-700 plus. Good luck either route you go!
