I have a 04 silver civic and I was wanting to tint my windows silver. I was wondering do you guys think that would look good and if you have a picture of a car with silver tint please post it.

Yea, they look good. Only problem is... every cop you see, will pull you over. I have a friend who had mirror tint. He pulled it off asap. He got in trouble a few times.

I had it on a silver vic and I looked fine. I didn't have any problems with it either with cops. They took my pictures down though.

NO F'in way in hell should you get that put on. The other guy is right. You won't make it one night without getting pulled over, they cops are profiling you anyway just because you have a civic.

I had it on my dodge avenger for 3 years never got in trouble for it, and I was pulled over a bunch of times for speeding. Plus it was 5% for the rear 3 windows but it was specially made for industrial tinting.3m made it, and it was costly but the look was great.

over here in cali, i dont think i could get away with mirror tint unless im driving the backroads. i seen few cars with mirror tint on the rear windows which is still considered illegal in CA but im assuming cops dont care about that since its the front windows that are more important about.

i guess it depends how much an ******* the cop is. the best you can get away with is a warning and i wouldnt want to risk that either.

It differs per state law which you should check first otherwise you should be able to get it put on your car as long as the percentage rating passes law. For instance Texas allows 25% on front no matter the tint type (ie mirror, smoke , silver etc) and the rest can be 2% for all they care as long as they can see through the drivers window

Back in December '02 I got my windows mirror tinted, on a silver '01 sedan. The city I got it done in, the cops couldn't care less. However, I live a podunk redneck college town right now, and they waited until it was raining like hell and I was already late for work to pull me over at a red light, and make me scrape my windows at the shell station. That was in May '03. I have since gotten even darker windows 15% black. Now the hillbilly, tobacco spitting cops don't even look at my car. That's a good thing I guess, because I flip their asses off every time I see one. To say I'm still a little bitter about it is reasonable.
