Armor all is water based. When it evaporates, it dries out the surface even more.
Don't know if they changed the formula since I last had it crack my dash, but I use only producs that are glycerin or silicone based.

Armorall is bad. The ingredients harm your interior over time if you keep using it. Great marketting, POOR product.
I use Liquid Glass w/mink oil. I dont know if it's available in the US?

I use Simonize on the dash and stuff. I carry a swiffer rag around in the car just to keep the dust off it.
I use Black Magic Pro Shine:

It's water free and contains plastimers.

You are an idiot? You tried to sue? Doesn't it say something like to not put it on your steering wheel? or maybe its common sense....
everyone gets different results on the same products they use, one may like it while the other may not. i've used armor all and found it not so bad, but there are other products out there that i've searched and found that are better....
I just can't believe how many bad comments you guys have for armor all. I've been using it for a long time and I have never had any bad experience with it. You guys must be using it every freakin' day no wonder your dash are cracking. I only use it twice a month and it never gave me any problem at all.
