trunk latch problem

trunk latch problem
the other night i locked my trunk latch because i had some vallet person park my car, anyways i come back and unlock it and i pull the lever to open my trunk and its stuck and wont pull up all the way to open the trunk...ive only had this car for a few months and this is the only time ive used the lock on the trunk/gas latch...does anyone know how to fix it?
