Project diskreet complete *Updates in Post 1*
I was planning to use the same kind of box for my subs. Are you getting good quality sound with the subs set up that way? I like how you manage the space in the trunk, even have a door to the basement for the spare tire.
Great work man, congrats!

The guy who runs it will take care of you if you have a problem. If your civic isnt set up like the one in the instructions, for the auto shifter, then dont use that method to get to the LED. You will break something. PM me if you have an auto and do that led. Ill walk you through it with tons of pics

I did cut the pods so you can see the other gauges but thats easy.
I got my Air/Fuel gauge and Voltage gauge off cardomain.com. <- Links to pages.
Another good tip: When wiring these take power from the red wire on the head unit harness, so it turns on with the car. Ground on a metal screw, or with the black wire on the harness. Take "Dash Illumination" wire on gauges and tap into the orange wire in the harness for that. You are all set. (This will make things very easy, so remember that!)
Where I got my gauge faces:

Wire the + wire to the orange/white wire in the stereo harness so they turn on with the dash lights, and the - wire to any ground! There is a super good tip. That way you can remove the switches they give you and have it automatic.

One thing to note though, the box is actually ported. It was made and designed by JL Audio for those exact subs. So I don't know how well the box will be for you if you build it. This is good since they are made for the subs, but otherwise just make sure the volume is right!
Here is the link to the box/subs.

looks good man!
how easy/difficult is it to manuever your spare out of that space? i've built a false trunk floor that open up, but with much more accessibility. i'm wanting to redo the sound in my trunk, but i'm concerned about losing that much space. let me know, thx.

thanks. thats exactly what I was going for.
happy that others appreciate the amount of work I put into this. Hours of design, many hours of building, and a few hours finishing it off. thanks.
