trade my 05 type s for another 7thgen? am i crazy?
ok i had an 03 lx thats in my ride , and i traded it for a nbp 05 rsx type s about a month ago. now, dont get me wrong but i dont think i really like it an i may trade the s in for an 05 lx.
things i dont like about my new car
1. lots of small cracks and rattles
2. 6 gears is annoying i am ALWAYS shifting!
3. i went 250kmh in it yesterday (video and proof on clubrsx) and thats too fast
4. seat is garbage very uncomfortable
5. leather is very ugly when its all wrinkled IMO
6. black is very hard to keep clean
7. dont need sunroof
8. dont need heated mirrors
9. 38 mpg city/ 48 highway turned into 24 mpg city / 35 hwy
10. that mileage is w 1.10 cdn per litre 91 octane! vs reg
11. almost double the car pmt
12. 30% higher insurance
AM I CRAZY???!!!

From an economical standpoint, it makes great sense that you would want to trade the car in.
If you feel the Civic is right for you in terms of performance and quality, then go ahead and do it...it'll save you so much money.
OR just downgrade to a base model RSX.

i would say you are crazy. but if you are having trouble affording it (insurance, payments, gas prices going up), good luck with the trade. if you want performance, keep it. i personally would want performance and would keep it.

u shoulda kept the lx and saved even more $$$$$$$$$$$ now that ur gonna trade it in. ull be losing $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ big time compared to just keeping the 03 lx in the first place.

Don't turn back bro, ... you're living the dream!
I'd probably stick to the RSX, you lose a lot of value on a car... especially once you drive it off the lot!

If you're not happy with your car... there's nothing wrong with trading it in for something else... even if it is a little down grade from speed and luxury. Both cars are good.

^^^ what R1 said .....
Honestly this goes to all Civic members and I actually saw proof and was told this by a Good Acura friend who is a mechanic there...
Hold on to your seats folks..
He said this
The RSX S is a nice car but the interior is pure junk. When someone has leather as an option it doesnt hold up well at all.He said he has seen about 3 rsx s in very bad condition after only 100.000 KM's 60.000 miles and he said he would not purchase one at all..
He said that the reg civics and RSX base with cloth and reg apolstery hold more value in the long run ..
Like he said if you use your car alot like normal people do the civics hold up pretty good to wear and tear THE RSX type S does not..
He actually showed me one ...
What i saw..
Shift *** (The gunmetal or whatever was all comming off )
Steering wheel (Huge cracks)
Seats (leather(cracked looked like ****)
Dash( easily scratched)
Ill take pics and show you guys

Hey man, just got an RSX though not Type-S...
PM if you can, but what were your lease payments and did you put any money down? Did you get it at Northwest Acura? Just making a comparison... I was planning to get a Type-S...

Be seriously it depends on what you want the car for. Looks, economy, racing? All a matter of preference but goodluck.
