Well i dropped my baby off at the bodyshop to have the Lip kit painted and Installed it's gonna cost $600 for everything... i was wonderin if that was about right or am I payin to much And I will post pics as soon as I can should be thursday...

sounds a little high to me, i had my lip's priced out to get painted, and it was only 400 canadian for the front/rear. but that was to much so i left em black.

this is for a everything the front, rear, and sides plus install so I thought that was about right... i got a good deal at Phasenine for the kit $300 shipped just bad service so i figure the whole kit 300 + 600 paint and install = 900 for all this ****... so is that Bad?

i think 600 is a good/decent price.. left it black is too ricey (i guess not too ricey if your car is black?)

well I have a lip kit on my 93 eg hatch. I paid $100 to get it painted and installed. So IMO I think you're paying a bit too much. Even $600 to paint a full bodykit is a little too much. I paid 300$ for my full body kit to be painted and installed.

i do my own installs and paint and $600 is way way too high of a price...for a lip kit and paint i would charge about $100 at most

damn straight it should...hell they should give u extra paint cuz paint shouldnt be more than $300-400 for a gallon of it...and they would use about 1/2 a quart on ur lip kit or less

For $600 i can get my whole car repainted. I would think about $250 for paint and labor so yea your paying too much.

installed my full body kit myself and my buddy is painting the whole car for me at the end of the month. its good to have friends that are painters.

That is extremely high. I paint all the time and they are basically charging you about 500$ in labor. Paint is no more than 100$ if that. But i guess its too late if they have already started. If there is one flaw at all i would Bitch because of the price you paid it should be flawless.

full wingest west lip kit WELL and PROPERLY painted cost me $$450.00.

I had a "friend" paint the rear lip for me for cheapo 100 bucks and now its cracking to hell and spider viens all over that shyte.. Dont go cheap, even if you pay a bit more it just gives you ever right to bitch and get it fixed if it peelsor cracks.

1/2 a quart is a pint which is what they most commonly mix paint in is pints, a average is 70 bucks for a pint of paint, then they have to add in the additives they mix with it, then the clear which is expensive and the additives for that, then the time and labor and everything, id say about 300 bucks being real cheap for it to be done and 450 is what id expect to pay for quality work, you paying 600 bucks isnt too bad, some places are more expensive for their own reasons but if you see anything wrong at all dont let it slip past , point it out and ask them to make it right and it better not be a charge to u

I think that's a bit too high, but you cant forget that some shops have higher quality work than others.
