huge bottoming out problems

huge bottoming out problems

so ya i have my car lowered on eibach sportlines and i have 2.25" magnaflow exhaust. last night my exhaust almost ripped off when i went over a small incline and onto the road. anyone else have problems like this? i know alot of you guys have your cars lowered alot and huge exhaust, so how do you avoid this?

it's all about the angle of approach

I'm lowered on Neuspeed Race all around on 15" 99-00 SI rims with a lip kit.........kinda low

but yet I get into and out of places without scraping that friends of mine can't believe

Your shocks are probably blown which is causing you to bottom out. I'd suggest tokico blues if this is just a daily driver. If you want dampening adjustablity then go with the koni yellows. BTW there are other options besides the shocks I just mentioned. Search around you should be able to find some good info.

I learned that the best way to avoid bottoming out is to avoid roads that have inclines, holes or steep driveways haha

magnaflow is known to sit lower than normal. Have a muffler shop raise it up.

ya i think my shocks are done and im going to get konis. also i think im going to try and raise my exhaust by making a new hole lower down on the rubber mount so i can keep the exhaust up. thanx for the info and i'll let you know what happens.
