A friend of mine actually got some 8000k D2S bulbs and got pulled over the first night he had them in
Are the bulbs coated blue? or are the bulbs clear? Looks like there is a blue reflection in the housing when the bulbs are off?

^^no the bulbs are clear, the turn signals are hyper white, but the bulbs are blue, the HID bulbs are clear....
also that pic of the wall was taken from inside the car and my front windshield is tinted medium.... the lights actually light up both sides of the freeway at night

You have to realize that reflective housings need glare to light up road signs...
Put it this way, Your crappy halogens even have glare, just that its not so noticeable cause they are so dim

Rep Power: 0 How hard was this install?? I have the sivlerstar and I love how clear and bright they are but i am kinda of a chicken when it comes to cutting my factory harness. I like it btw....how is night driving with them??

Rep Power: 363 I have my 8k kit to install as soon as I get my stock lights blacked out and installed back on the car. I might be close to what your running still its hot but all I see is BLUE

I can get a hook up on the kits I might do mine too I love the hid look. Every thing is so clear at night.....and screw other people, I get blinded all the time you think they care fshhhh. Your welcome btw its nice to see a lady mod her car I just wish my g/f would let me touch her 98 vic, ohh well!

Rep Power: 280 Those lights are blue like the ones on BMWs and Merks. Never thought about modding the bulbs, I guess every lil bit counts at the car shows.

no i cleared the headlights and put hyper white bulbs in them, but they are blue on the outside.... same as the turn signals
