well you have to legally have orange turn signals i think, but i dont like them, so i cleared mine out.

um no, bmw/merks use 4-5k bulbs for VISIBILITY.. the projector is what makes the blue flicker

no.. higher kelvin rating does not mean they are brighter. 4-5k puts out the best visibility. anything higher than that gets dimmer an is just for looks

no the color temp. which is brightest is about 4100k - 5000k...higher u get the more ultra violet light gets in the visible spectrum and it gets less bright and more blueish until it turns purple with like a 12000k - 30000k hid lighting...read the threads about hids in the lighting section...its really REALLY useful info

So these ones are even brighter and more high end?
They are the same ones(about 10K) that are used in LM, LMP, GTS, GT in the AMLS.

yea a lot of people did, but i wanted blue and the company i got them from said the purple were the 12000.... so yea whatever, im happy...

wtf? the ones used in race cars in the aforementioned international races are probably 2600k (YELLOW) HID. yellow is the best for inclement weather, and these guys drive in all sorts of it.

do HIDS with black housing look different then HIDS with regular housing? cuz i have black housing like vtechgrl and kind of want HIDS, but i dunno, they look weird with black housing (to me)

there will be a tad bit less glare because the light hitting the chrome surrounding area will be dampned by the black. but still alot of glare regardless.
