ok i was thinking take a mid 90's subaru impreza....and put in a jdm ej20....i was thinking call it project sti hunter lol but what do yall think of this. i can get a jdm ej20 for a lil under 5 grand from zerolift (check em out www.zerolift.com) but would this be worth it? im seriously thinking about investing money into this

Whats great is scoobies are so easy to swap...... Just about every engine is interchangable as well as trannies...... sounds like a good plan.... or get a 2.5rs and build the motor and turbocharge that..... whats that line that the domestic guys use "theres no replacement for displacement"

i found a few mid 90s imprezas on ebay for under 1k which would be prefect the only downside is they are all automatics and id wanna have some 5spd fun b4 i did the swap.....lol
