205/50R16, honda recommended size for the wheels.
they are nitto neo gens, got a good deal on them, and they are quite nice, smooth riding and quiet.

A mild drop won't affect comfort all that much. When I had my H&R's in I barely noticed any change in ride quality.
btw... nice wheels.

i will think about a drop, but i really like my ride quality the way it is. i dont know if its worth it to me to spend the money on a 1" or whatever drop, regardless of the looks outcome.

Right now I'm dropped low..... the ride is rough as hell and I bottom out if i'm not careful but I love how it handles and looks.
When I had my H&R's... I thought the ride was extremely close to stock. The drop was subtle but noticeable... 1.3" drop. It's worth the money if you can find a used set.
Post a thread asking if anyone has H&R's and how their ride is... I bet they'll say what I just said.

i'll take your word on it
i doubt a fellow member would have me buy something that i wont like.
when you guys say handling will improve, how will it improve in daily driving? i drive speed limit mostly and dont take turns at high speeds or anything. i'm thinking that it will lean less during turns, and will probably be more stable on the highway at 70-80mph, am i right to assume that?

NICE...cant wait to get mine on 4/17/05!!! i have them at my gfs house but didnt "get" them yet but on my b-day ill be getting these on with some nice toyo proxes 4's
excellent choise. now get rid of those amber pieces in the headlights!
as for that....getting a 16" USDM wheel MADE for a civic is big!!! Our cars 99% of the time see 14", 15" or aftermarket. 16" Hondas for a civic are R.A.R.E over here (not in japan) Then again you only see 17's on the Type-R?(same style but 17" iirc) and the HFP package on the EP3 here right?

yeah i agree. I like the stock 04 ex alloys, just wished they made them in 17's though.
Back to the topic, i like the wheels. I say get rid of the amber in the headlight and you'll have a really clean car.

Sedans look lower I think. Ill see when i get my wheels on but my rear is down at least an inch with the 100+ pounds of dynamat and sub box in the trunk. i hope the gap isnt too much but i honestly think the sedans have less gap than the 2-doors.

now that i think about it, my trunk is empty. i am working on a fiberglassed install and there is nothing in the trunk. no amps, subs, nothing. i'm sure that stuff will weigh 150lbs or more, that might lower down the rear end a little, you think?

yes, but accepting the 16" wheels as large enough will save you over $1000!!!
