Civic - Good or Bad?

I have an 02 civic and am trying to fix up and modify the engine. Other people have asked what to put on there car when they have extra cash and many people say to get another car. Is the civic a bad car to add engine components, does the engine suck?

I personally wouldn't throw more than 5k into trying to make it faster; 5k is enough to put down on another (possibly better) car.

If you don't turbocharge it, then swap it. really the only way to get real power. skip engine mod and do something else, suspension, exterior or interior.

4. go slow. look good
