I have my rental car for 3 days now while my car is getting the left side repainted. (someone keyed it)
I get to beat the **** out of a brand new 2005 dodge caravan sxt minivan. haha.

Hah, one of my friends just bought a used rental car last year ('02? 4d Civic), and one of my other friends (knows everything about cars) absolutely tore him apart for doing so without asking him first. He's kind of lucky was a Civic he bought, because he hasn't had any trouble with it yet.

In one case a rental company issues the guy speeding tickets because it GPS-tracked him using a black box and caught him speeding on something like 5 separate occassions. It went to court and the judge dismissed the black box evidence.
A lot of cars nowadays do have accident black boxes (as mentioned) that record between 5-10secs before an major accident. I think they record speed, rpms, throttle depression, brake depression and perhaps some other variables.

first car i drove daily was my moms caravan on my permit.... pull some reverse 180's its awsome the feeling u get when u dont know for sure if your about to tip
