the TYC's have a glass lens...the retrofit is a good idea...something I'll consider after this show is done.

I put them in the oven for 1.5 mins at 350....melted some ****, but meh, it was only on the back of it.,....I don't care, haha

tonight I went and ran the wiring all under the new headliner (GPS sensor, mic, power wires, rca's) and made the bracket for my roof mount screen....tomorrow is the big install day!

so the TYC's have glass lenses??? does it have a cutoff beam?? i'm looking for some projectors that fits h4 bulbs..but don't want to spend the money to get the d2s

yes, they do have glass lenses, and they have a cutoff point....if I remember, I'll take some pics for you tonight...

I should have most of this stuff done by the end of night tonight...the only thing that will hold me up is that my paint sponsor has my door skins and centre consol, so I can't install some of that stuff.

BTW: does anyone know if I can install the brain for my AVIC'N1 under the driver's seat, or does it have to be in the middle?

projectors do not use h4 bulbs... H4 = dual filament

Only projectors produce a cutoff

TYC's lense are still crappy/cloudy

I wouldnt suggest doing a retrofit, till after you are done with all your headaches, esp if you will be doing it by yourself
