Rep Power: 259 it doesnt matter how tall or wide it is...its all about the depth of the intercooler. it'd be quicker w/ a regular size one..b/c its not a huge engine.

I disagree. If the point of the intercooler is to cool the air before it enters the engine, wouldn't a thick intercooler be a waste because there is less of the air in the intercooler in contact wit hthe metal.

he would need a huge turbo to fill that up but a civic has no where near enough displacement for that. he is an ***. a smaller fmic would work alot better! less space to fill and honestly do you really think its making it that much cooler to increase turbo lag and reduce efficiency alot. i think not.

2.2 L still isnt alot. but the major thing here is that i still doubt the engine can exhaust enough to EFFICIENTLY spin a turbo enough to fill that FMIC. There is no way a smaller cooler wouldnt work better. smaller fmic=less volume to pressurize, but also a smaller FMIC will be able to cool as effectivly.
Unless you are running huge boost, like 30psi, then you dont need that much cooling. Also no 4 cylinder should be filling that up well at 30psi if AT ALL with any turbo!
So im saying its a waste
