Rep Power: 0 which of the civics in years and body styles would you guys rather have more?, a 2001-2003?, or a 2004-2005?.
IMO personally, i think that the 2004-2005 model and body style is cooler cause it's a bit more detailed and elaborate. but thats my opinion.

Rep Power: 0 i can't afford a Type S bro. it's too expensive monthly. both for the car and the insurance.
my best bet is to get another civic. those cars aren't expensive.
i'm looking to try to get a "SPECIAL EDITION" civic. those are nice one's. i'm looking for a red one. or blue.....or black. no more white. i think it's time to move on.

Rep Power: 296 Figure out how much your civic is worth. If you owe more then its worth then the trade in is not worth it. You can probably buy a used base rsx for the same price as a special edition ex. You can probably buy a new 06 hx and get a better interest rate then for a used car.

Rep Power: 0 I hardly ever see the HX model civics anywhere. are those more loaded than the Ex's? or are they equal? whats the "HIGHEST" model in civics in terms of having "everything" features and "being loaded"? I thought the Ex was the best class civic just below the Si....?

Rep Power: 0 well yeah!. thats what i plan on getting, is the 2005 civic Ex EM2 or if i can find the "special edition" i'll get that. but, what are the chances of finding the "special edition" civic?
it's either a 2005 civic Ex (EM2)
or a 2006 scion tc.

Rep Power: 260 go with the TC. you will be much happier. my firend got the 05 release series 1.0 and its hella nice. 18" konigs, pioneer deck satelite radio ready, Hotchkis strut bar (not sure if thats extra). but yah its a better deal than the 05 EX. plus you get a faster, better looking stock vehicle

Sorry i meant dx. The reason i mentioned a 06 dx is because its a best priced civic in the 06 line up. The lx and ex is overpriced in my opinion. The 06 DX is lighter then the other two and still has the 140hp engine. It has ABS, cd player and power windows.
The LX comes with the keyless entry and alarm and the ex comes with the front and rear disc breaks.
The dx is about 14k and probably 16k after taxes and you'll get a lower interest rate then a used car.
If your going to go used is say Type S is the best buy. 16k for a reliable 200hp car is a good deal. If i can go back i would've just bought the used Type S instead of a new 04 civic.

Rep Power: 0 Everyone's saying "type S" but i can't get one of those cause it's raising my insurance up by 60 dollars! . F-THAT!. The scion tc is in my mind for the most part....it'll probably be "the one"
And i've been looking at 03's and 04's of the RSX type S and they are NOT 16K. infact, i can't even find one thats less than 17,600 or 17,900. There's one thats 70 miles away from me that has 9,700 miles on it and it's 20,900 dollars! it's PERFECT but it's damn expenisve!. why would a dealership here in florida where the taxes are 6%, sell a car like that for nearly 21,000 dollars!!!? they're NEVER going to sell that bitch with a price like that! LOL. what do you guys think?

i've seen cars go for 14-16k all the time. You just have to find the right offer. If $60 more a month for insurance is too much for, i'm not sure if you should be getting a new car unless your parents are going to help you out. A new car is nice, just make sure if still have enough cash to have fun and life your life.

Rep Power: 0 yeah i was planning on getting a NEW 2006 SCION TC. those cars start off at 16k, LOADED!. i'm not getting any added features or anything to my tc if i DO get it. just the base model and a type of color and a MANUAL transmission and i'm good to go. now, as far as the insurance for the 06 tc goes. i've already ran than and it's only going up by 13 dollars so thats not bad. as far as getting a RSX Type S. i ran those cars on my insurance too and THAT car was comming up as an EXTRA 60 dollars a month. LOL, like i said-F-THAT!.
Unless the monthly payments of the Type S are cheap enough, i wouldn't mind paying 60 extra dollars for my INSURANCE. but if i'm going to end up paying like 300 or 330 dollars a month for an RSX Type S and my insurance going up 60 extra dollars well than my friends....NO!. but the Tc will be i'm guessing like 270 to 300 a month for me but thats ok being that the insurance for that car and for me will ONLY go up 13 meesly dollars. you know what i'm saying now? on average, for a weekly paycheck. i usually make about 330 to 350 or so. so i should be ok. and my girlfriend also lives with me and she makes about 400 dollars a week so i'm thinking DEEPLY about all this....what do you guys think my chances are getting a 2003 or 2004 RSX Type S for under 300 a month or cheaper? do you guys think that would work for me like the SCION TC would?
bro, if your friend got that new scion tc without a buncha extra features on it for that price than i'm sorry. he got ripped a new A-HOLE! LOL. those cars MSRP start off at 16,840. NO WAY would i pay that much for a Tc!....NO WAY!

Rep Power: 0 guys, i think that i'm just gonna trade in my 2002 civic ex EM2 for a 2005 civic ex EM2. forget getting a 2006 scion tc!. i don't wanna be in debt that much for a car man!. and i wanna keep it honda so i was always thinking of trading honda for honda. some people give me a hard time about trading in my car for pretty much the same car but i like the 05's for than the 01's-03's. besides, i wanted a different color exterior and interior too. i just want a more newer version of my car so i thought of getting an 05 ex. i like those better, it'll have lower miles and it'll be more newer and this way i could get a different color interior and exterior too!. what do you guys think about my decision and what i'm wanting to do as far as THIS trade honda for honda trade goes? and also, do you guys think that this is a stupid idea and do you guys think that a honda dealership will let me do this and NOT **** me over?

Rep Power: 0 of course their going to try to **** you over, thats the only way they make money....... let the salesman know that you dont car what kinda car you drive, tell him that you want something newer. for whatever price he first says be like "well i can go drive a used scion tc with only 13000 miles on it for 1500 cheaper than what youre offering me" you can pretend you dont care what you drive, use that to beat them down. thats what i did

Rep Power: 0 well, i plan on putting down like 2000 dollars or so. maybe 1500 dollars. I want an 05 for all sorts of different reasons!. I sure am going to let them know that they can't **** me over cause i'll let them know that i DO have other cars in mind...as i DO REALLY!. but i wanted to keep it honda for a REASON! if the ONLY honda dealership here in town decides to **** me over or atleast "try" to. than i'll just walk out telling them that, that deal isn't good enough and that I KNOW they can go lower or do better. I'm totally ready to go get another civic but the ONLY thing holding me back is the lack of down payment money i DO NOT have. if i had 2000 dollar or so in my pocket right now. i'd march right over there and get whats mine!.
