Painting 04 headlights?

I have a black 04 & was thinking about doing the black-out headlights. My only concern is that it will be too much black. So I started thinking about other colors/alternatives, so my question is how do you think the housings would look in hyper black/black chrome? I have a feeling that I will have to order real automotive paint & take it to my buddys paint shop since I cant find it in a spray can. Tell me what you think of the color & give me some other Ideas.

I think that the new one's look pretty tight w/ the black on black.
the hyper black might be a little risky if you ask me.
but do whatever you think you'd like

I recently painted my housing black, and i have an 04 vic too, Looks AWSOME! Got a little bit of fog in my right headlight tho, make sure to use silicone to reseal those bitches up good! I gotta wait till summer to air mine out and seal em up better...or wait for projectors.

ive done mine. looks hot.

i think the hyperblack/ black chrome is a great idea. itll look like that member around here who has those JDM housings that are gunmetal colored. i say order the paint n have it painted by ur friend. if he does a good job, itll look fine. AND ull be the only one on here with that so far. uniqueness is the key!

my 04 looks waaaaayyy better with blacked out headlights. good thing is most people around here don't have them. BTW my car is fiji blue but i think it looks good in any color car.
