ordered new hood today
woot. Ok I've laid out a plan according to my finances. I ordered a red/black carbon fiber hood today. It's like the one on this S2000 here.
I will also be getting the new 04+ OEM spoiler soon (costs about $350 painted and installed). After that I'm saving up.
By the end of this year I will be getting the comptech reinforced differential, 4.57 performance final drive gear, getting all of that polydyned and cryo-treated, and then driving down to Ganley Honda in Ohio to have it installed. The entire thing will probably cost about $2000.
Then early next year, I will be getting the ACT HD Pressure Plate and machined OEM flywheel. I'll replace the throwout bearing right away too, since it's cheap andthe entire assemply will already be apart. I will also just use my existing OEM clutch disk, since it's good for up to 500-600 horsepower. This upgrade should cost about another $600, but I'll do the install myself to save money.
Why do all of this you ask? Because by end of next year I should be able to go FI. I'm either going with the aftercooled Comptech SC, or going with a custom turbo kit. The comptech SC will cost about $5100 and I'll do the install myself.
OR I can get this custom turbo kit built specifically for the S2000. I'd have the install done by the manufacturer in michigan. The turbo kit details can be found in this thread here.
The kit installed would be about $6500.
So how's my plan?

There is a dyno on the page i link in my first post up there.
The comptech SC can get about 14 boost max or so. stock boost is about 6psi and yields about 320whp i believe.
