hey guys . . .today, drove my civic (manual) and it seemed like the stick would move harder than usual i mean when i move the gear to (the left) 1st and second gear it seemed as if i was putting more effort than usual to throw it in first and second. 3rd 4th 5th and rev seems to be normal. when i'm in neutral, i shook it a lil and it it felt as if there was something in there in its way. is it possible i need a new clutch? car drives fine and no gear pops out.
if i dnt need a new clutch, how would you know if it's time to replace it.
thanks
btw . . . it's a:
2001 civic ex
53000 miles
and hardly do i push it

Rep Power: 0 Have you changed your tranny fluid? The service manual recommends 60k intervals but a lot of people around here suggest 20-30k intervals. Also has it been cold beucase that could affect how dificult it is to ****.
