Rep Power: 375 woot new rims
I bought new summer rims. 17" motegi 6-spoke split design. The kumho ecsta supras are coming off and being replaced with Kumho Ecsta MX's. i'll probably put the rims on sometime in april when winter is over.

Rep Power: 375 yeah that was the one damaged rim. actually it was re-done in the gunmetal color. the flash from my camera is the only reason you can see it.
but if you were to even be looking at the rim in normal light, you'd have to look hard to see it.
not bad for $200 though.

Rep Power: 375 well i've seen them on the car and they look much better than the stock rims IMO. keep in mind my car is red, and the gunmetal color alone matches much better. i know sh*t about rims, but to me, if it looks nice, i'll take it. i could give a sh*t if someone thinks motegis are crap, because they look good on my red car.
and i'm not going to sell them again and get something else. i had never even planned on getting rims, but this was something that looked decent on mycar, and helps me out because i can leave the winter tires on the OEM rims, and the summer tires on the summer rims.
as for 'shitty' kumhos, the kumho ecsta MX's are actually very good tires. superior to many tires out there for daily spirited driving, and are almost as good on dry as the S-02's.

Rep Power: 272 I understand what everyone is saying about Motegi not mixing well with an S2000, but I also understand your viewpoint. Afterall, it's your money and to your likings.
I personally think the rims look good. Just throw on some new tires and you're set.

none of them flamed me for it in any way. several other S2000 owners have motegis as well. again, same reason. they really dont care if they dont cost $2,000. they just wanted something that looked decent. in fact, i bought these FROM another S2k owner and member of s2ki
