Wouldn't be too hard of a conversion, I would imagine. Aside from the fact that I'm not entirely sure the S2000's engine would fit in the 7th gen's engine bay. I haven't taken measurements yet, so I don't know. I know the front and rear-end assemblies should be no prob to make fit into the 7th gen. Well, that's not exactly true... But, take a look at the dimensions:
01 EX Coupe:
Wheelbase: 103.10"
Length: 174.70"
Front Track: 57.90"
Rear Track: 57.90"
05 S2000:
Wheelbase: 94.50"
Length: 162.20"
Front Track: 57.90"
Rear Track: 59.40"
Personally, from looking at pictures of the assembly of the S2000, I really think that it's possible. Of course, parts of the interior would need to be modified, as well, to account for the fabbed-up transmission/driveshaft tunnel that would need to run to the rear-end. I'm sure it'd make for one HELL of a car, though.

1. Find out how Honda fit the Real-Time AWD system into the JDM 7th gen Civic Ferio (sedan).
2. Find out how to turn Real-Time AWD into full time AWD or RWD only.
3. Collect funds.
4. Get crackin'

the F20 is an accord engine.
Our FWD is good cuz you get the weight of the motor on the drive axle, better handling in turns, and (my new personal favourite) helping to dig your way out of snow by being able to turn the spinning tires.
Yet I prefer RWD cuz then you eliminate having the two "dummy wheels" which just roll behind the car like a dog scooting on its ***, but I wouldn't go to the trouble of converting a Civic to RWD. If I had the money, I would get an AWD system. I guess what I mean to say is that I wouldn't Frankenstein my Civic, I'd just buy a Subaru.

I think it had a tuned NSX motor or something V6...nothing close to what our cars are.

Its called Real-Time AWD, same system in the CR-V.
It is FWD and ONLY gets power to the rear wheels when the front loses traction.

I saw a RWD 6thgen... They didn't bother with a F20C though, they just used the NSX motor (with a little wider engine bay, sledge hammer effect I believe). I'm not sure which type of tranny they used, but I know the rear end was off a Ford Mustang, a 9 inch rear end almost bolted right up, they just had to drill a few holes and that's it to fit the rear end in.

But did you notice anything funny when the shell comes off?
Its a custom built tube chassis.
Its not a Civic at all.
