RWD 7th gen

Yet I prefer RWD cuz then you eliminate having the two "dummy wheels" which just roll behind the car like a dog scooting on its ***, but I wouldn't go to the trouble of converting a Civic to RWD. If I had the money, I would get an AWD system. I guess what I mean to say is that I wouldn't Frankenstein my Civic, I'd just buy a Subaru.

Its called Real-Time AWD, same system in the CR-V.
It is FWD and ONLY gets power to the rear wheels when the front loses traction.

i dont think anyone's really done it because when you do the math, you can probably buy a new sti or evo with the cost of converting the car unless your doing the labor all by yourself or something.
i wouldn't really bother with it, unless really love the 7thgen. It would probably just be cheaper to buy a used rwd car like a is300 for like 18k and strap on a turbo and get 500-750hp.

true, its basically how you wanna spend your money. There lot of theories in how you can do it. There a couple threads about converting a 7thgen into a awd using CR-V and i think element parts. No ones actually executed it though.
I might do it as a project car, but not a car you would use daily.
