Rep Power: 0 Yes, you are correct: "The installer jez suck"
That's why they make squeegees. He either doesn't know what one is, or his is bad and making the scratches with it. Sounds like he's wiping his hairy crack with a kleenex and trying to clean your windows with it.

Rep Power: 326 Hey man, this may just be me, but if I spent money for you to do something, than its getting done right because you are going to earn your money. So if you're not happy, have them do it right.

Rep Power: 237 yea i went back to them like 5 times, they said if i come back again for tiny imperfections, they'll take off all the tint, give me my money back and pay for someone else to do it, but that doesn't take away the scratches the guy made, i'm sure he'll deny it, this is the count for all the fixes, 5 for back window, 3 for rear sides, 2 for front, so the only one they did right the first time is the front strip, the things is i've been going to them since 98 when i got my 1st civic, juz can't believe how much they suck now. plus i had to take off the rear deck for them to fix the back window, not to mention they scratched the edge of the rear deck panel. where in FL can i get a perfect tint.

Rep Power: 296 i dont get how you can get hair stuck between the tint and window. Does the installer not clean the window before he puts on the tint? That sux you had to take out the rear deck. Usually tint places are suppose to all that for you. You probably spent more labor taking out that rear deck, then they did tinting all 5 windows.
From the sounds of it, the tint place you went to doesn't know what there doing. I would just go to another place. i think the hardest part of tinting, is just cutting it out in the right shape. Everything else is pretty easy, i watched them do it at my tint place.

Rep Power: 0 First of all, your installer sucks let everyone has told you already.
You can do your own tinits, its rather easy. Just takes time if you doing it for the first couple of times.
They scratched your window when taking the tint off.
Tip: You shouldnt remove tint from your rear window that often, you might damage the rear defogger strips on the window! Its easy to fix but still.!

Rep Power: 237 they once again messed up, there seems to be something in between the tint/glass again in 2 windows, and the scratches look horrible, especailly cuz it's a brand new car, my rear deck looks like crap too cuz of the scratch that goes all the way across, i'mma make them take it all off, give me my money back, pay the fee for fixing my glass and deck, and pay for someone else to do it, i hate ace window tinters, never gonna do biz w/ them again.

Rep Power: 237 well, i got the old tint off and got a refund, and they're paying to get my rear panel replaced, but not the scratches in the window. so, i decided to get it redone at this place called all-pro, omg, it was perfect, this dood was badass, he hand cut all the tint and did it perfect, couldn't ask for better work, and it was $70 cheaper, i totally recommend them.

Rep Power: 0 Took me 4 times for my idiot tinters to get mine done.. it kept peeling when I rolled my window down. They would tell me wait 2 or 3 days before you roll down... still peeled. 4th time was a charm.
