Rep Power: 248 Nice color usage. VERY CLEAN!
BTW, is that a Honda made Strut or just a sticker on something...
And Viper to answer your cleaning question, cover your alternator and intake... Then use that orange clean stuff that is availible at Wal-Mart. Let it sit on the engine and bake off all the ****. And rinse it well. Then wipe it down, get all the spots off, and polish the areas you can.
Then take it into photoshop and change the contrast of the shining areas and add a few sunbursts so it looks uber shiny!

Rep Power: 0 Unfortunately its not DIY. Sorry. The local Honda dealer here did it for free. I had several repairs done to my Civic, and that engine detailing is what I bargained instead of asking for a discount on parts and labor. But thanks for the nice comments.
No photoshop involve on those pic. Its a fresh pic straight from my camera. No alterations whatsoever.
My car's color is coded here as Iced Teal Pearl or ITP for short.
The strutbar is a generic strutbar and yes the Honda on it is just a sticker.
- Yes it is.

Rep Power: 344 Wow you could eat out of that engine bay. And I'm hungry so you should drive over here with some chopsticks, noodles, then pop the hood.

Rep Power: 0 I really want to know what they used. I clean/polish my engine every month or two, but nothing like that. That is crazy. Very clean!

I love that color. The only thing I don't like about Civic's there are instead of a third breaklight, you have an extra reflector. I should bring my Civic there to get it done... hehehe.
