I recommend going with the Gun-Metal. It is definately an awesome color. Other than, I would recommend a paint job like Mazda does. Get it with large chunks of metal flake so it really is set apart.
if you are going to repaint the whole car, my opinion would be to go to your local auto paint and sit down with a book. You would be surprized on how many shades of blue you could get. then the good part of that is you can make your own name for the paint since no one else will have it....

Many colors look good only on certain cars. You have to picture colors such as the S class blue on your civic. In my opinion, that example wouldn't look good.
I like NBP, personally, because of the blue sparkles that give it a slight blue hue. If you wanna stick with black, but not NBP, my dad's BMW is jet black, and I love that color.
Otherwise, I like the gunmetal a lot, too.
