my new egg + review (56k....umm no)

well after putting the deposit and signing almost all paperwork for the rsx-s the dealer informed me that they could not have the car here before the endo f the year and they jumped the payments to almost 280 which for i lease i thought that was expensive, so me and my mom decided to just go to another dealer. none of the acuras had the color that i wanted so i called up the guy who sold me my 7th gen last year and i asked me if he could get me on a 05 si for less than 230 a month for 60 months i didnt wanna do the lease thing anymore well on wednesday i went up to the dealer and i drove away with an white 05 si i miss my ex but this car feels so much better here are the pics:

i took this pics on dec 24 which was a very cloudy day and my uncle's shitty camera didnt help either oh well i will try to get some new pics as soon as i get a digicam

this is the review part:

this is like my 5th day with the car, it really feels totally diferent than the old civic the eps was a little weird to get used to when i first drove away from the dealeship i was like wtf?? but after the 2nd day i got prettly well acustomed to it.
the engine is really strong havent pushed yet because i have to wait until it breaks in,
(120 miles so far ) the gear ratios feel pretty good the same as the em2 in 5th gear @ 60 mph the car is at 3k rpm, visivilty is awesome plus the radio sounds really good lots of bass! seats are really comfortable and i love that suede feel! the exhaust has a pretty nice tone but i think is too quiet. nothing like the rsx tone. the car picks up speed at any gear which im really amazed at. you dont have to downshift like i used to do in the em2 the shifter is kinda long but it feels really good and a little more shorter than the em2, it s like in the middle between the em2 and the rsx-s. also it has a lot of head room which tall people could apreciate i'm 5,2 so i dont really care
and lastly the suspension and brakes are very responsive and they do a good work. this car really feels more safer than the em2 and i got the model with side airbags it is like 60 more pounds but worth it. im in love with this car and as far as aftermarket stuff goes this car has a lot of support! im planning on putting a jackson racing supercharger by next year and nothing else.

edit: punctuation placed! sry i failed english twice in high school because of punctuation.

Nice... nice review too. Damn, now I wish there were a K20 in Civics here so all the sedan drivers could enjoy it too.

Nice car, but try using some punctuation. I got a headache trying to read through that.

Mmm, you should get a nice CF hood and drop it onto that thing.

Hows the dash-mounted shifter treating you so far?

the dash shifter is really good, shorter than the regular em2 shifter (i love the leather) and since the car doesnt has an armrest you have to keep you right hand either on the shifter or on the wheel.

ive seen a lot of people on ephatch.com talk about how they miss-shift 3-2 and they blow up their engines because of that. there are some bushings that you can buy that minimize the problem and im looking foward to buy them if i ever get serious about racing this thing.

Also, you were right about shifting problem...from 2nd to 3rd is pretty difficult if you dont get it right. I wanna know more about those bushings you were talking about.

Shifter bushings doesn't solve that problem.

Although I don't have any problem with shifting 2nd to 3rd.
Yes I do have shifter bushings and short shifter but that doesn't make any differences.

no im talking about people miss shifting going 3-2 instead of 3-4 and then damaging the engine im still doing research about it so yeah probably bushings wont work for that..

So, what did you end up paying for the SI? Did you trade your old 7th Gen in? What do you pay a month? Did you put anything down? I am asking becasue you mentioned $230/month for 60 months. I pay $300/month for my 2002 EX. I couldn't put anything down so I borrowed $17,700 after tax and license. 5.9% interest for 72 months. If you got that car for $230/month I am gonna kick myself.

eps=electronic power steering. this was first pioneered on the nsx

they gave me 9,300 for my car. i put it back to stock
my montly payments came out to 219 a month x 60
so the car with taxes fees lo jack and a dentwizard dent protection plan came to about 22,500 the car itself was like 19,980 without any fees so it wasnt that bad
