long story. basically...someone on incoming traffic was trying to cut a left turn but the person infront of me hit him, then he spun out and i ended up hitting him.
initial estimate says its most likely not a total loss, but either way, im screwed.

Rep Power: 275 Damn Skip, it sounds like you were lucky that's all the damage you had. It could have been a lot worse. Hopefully your insurance won't go up too much. When my step sis wrecked my car, my insurance only went up $30/mo more. I was expecting $100+ increase. Good luck mang!

Riiiiigt go commit insurance fraud that sounds like a plan
Car is fixable and a good shop can repair that so it is just as strong as before if not better. idk i trust the shop i work at for that kind of repair . If you take it to a ins co recomeded shop and you dont like the job they did call the ins co and complain untill it is just how you want it.

Rep Power: 276 It isn't your fault so whoever hit you's insurance should be the one that goes up. You get full compensation, even for your performance parts. Don't let them screw you.

Rep Power: 306 airbags didnt go off because my car went under the car I HIT. Im at fault because i "failed to control vehicle speed to avoid an accident." I am not the cause of the accident, but police hold me responsible for what happened to my own car. so i got a ticket. no, i wasnt speeding. Initial estimate is between 5-7g's.
people who think a car is never the same...i dont agree. I work and study automotive technology, and i will be the first to tell you that this car will be just fine after all repairs. I believe maryland state law requires the frame to be up to 3mm to factory spec. You shouldnt let the saying "it'll never be the same" get to you, because a QUALITY shop will leave the car just like new.
I actually want my car repaired, because its a DX and its only worth 8-9g...honestly...what can i buy for that amount of money? my 2002 only has 19,000 miles on it. Im actually praying that my insurance wont total it.

Rep Power: 257 damage doesnt look that bad from the pics. looks like its just a fender, hood, bumber and headlight. looks like the front lip ok. other than that i would be happy it wasnt a total loss.
