Radar Detectors?!?
#31
good radar detectors should give you enough time to slow down, about 10'000 feet. not unless your going crazy fast over the limit you should be safe. laser is a different story you have very little time to react since the beam is so small. photo radar is tricky to. you have to make sure the radar detector has a good rear detection as well. all that i metioned i learned from radartest.com that's why i recommend people check it out as stated before.

Mine cracks jokes on me all the time.....
I'll be riding along minding my own business (speeding a little) and it will just go off **BEEP
mind you this is on back roads with no other car in site
so it gets my attention and I slow down thinking theres gonna be a cop. Nope
Seems to only do it when I'm in a hurry or just speeding a little for fun

if you really crazy about the monies, most cop cars in dfw have a gps locator unit that only supervisors can monitor incase the car gets stolen or what not. if you were to get your hands on one of those babies that shows where every cop car is, and got it too work properly with all the precints. No tickets for you for a very very very long time.
ps: i got hit by lidar the other day. i also noticed alot of cops are using laser now. gotta get me a jammer
