How would a CF trunk look painted like this?

Silvrbreez02: If you get a CF trunk and paint it that's just fine, I wouldn't have a problem with it. I just think the whole reason for buying it is to show off the cf and for the whole weight reduction thing which a lot of you are into but I am more to the show side and don't care about speed as much.

Balistek: Couldn't have said it better myself.
n20hvc: I'm into the show look too, but not really feeling the major contrast between all cf and SSM. So that's why I came up with these options.
Options to paint or not to paint looks about 50/50 right now. Agreed that painting cf is somewhat nonsense, but if I do decide to go through with this on the hood and trunk I'd be getting a sweet deal...good enough of a deal that I can play around with it and not be taking too much of a hit.

i've had the idea of gettin CF trunk and hood and then spraying a light coat of nhbp over them so that you could still see carbon fiber but it doesnt totally stand out on the car. what you guys think about that?

I'm trying to figure out how to get a coat light enough to see the cf through it. That would look sweet if you could get it to work.
I'm not sure I'm go through with this swap anyways. Kinda not too sure if the cf look is what I'm going for. Just difficult to make up your mind with a deal this good.
