A pic on 5 lug conversion
My friend (civic with DC5 wheel guy) just sent it to me. I don't know much but I think that from the picture it won't be too difficult to understand. Hope it can help.

wait, see i got 17" rims there 5 lug and our cars are 4 lugg so what your saying is he change dover to 5 lugg right?? I wanna do that for my rims but when i wanna take them off and put stock on then what??

It looks like they went the modified route.
Instead of the replacement route.
They just knocked out the lug bolts.
Drilled a five lug patteren .
Then popped the lug bolts in the new hole.
And just had to add another bolt.
Nice!

yeah i think its kinda cheap and unreliable. i wouldnt trust my car on it. suspension and brakes are the most important part of the car

i dunno if its just me, but it looks like he will get wheel wobbles? looks like the lugs are off center...
and your friend should be careful with the caliper there, you should always support it to prevent stretching of the lines or worse
