Like varmin said, just get the lip rolled and save a lot of work. You can also bend the lip back afterwards if you are trying to sell the car as stock, where-as if it was cut off you would have to have a new piece welded back on there.
When you say I have to paint the area after it has been cut, would Honda touch up paint work?

Rep Power: 0 Looks good. Very clean. I just don't particularly like the looks of the factory tail lights, and DIY smoked headlights; even though I have smoked headlights on my car right now, too. I'm going to get a new set of black-housing TYC's, though.
