Plasma cutting is a tool that body shops use in order to trim / cut things.
Plasma cutting makes a clean cut, and eliminates the chance of rust or paint chipping.

Shlomo 10-18-2004 10:53 PM

is your rear fender starting to rust or something?

Havok2k1 10-18-2004 11:08 PM

No but the rear tires were rubbing, so I had to adjust the camber.
Once I get the fender lips plasma cut, I will be able to correct the camber, and avoid rubbing.

re: plasma cutting...

i'll put in 2 comments on that concept. i had the same problem.

if you go to 205/40/17's, your problems are solved. bigtime.

if, however, you insist on bending/cutting your fenders, consider just rolling up the lip instead of cutting it off. they make a tool to roll your fenders up, you can borrow one for just shipping $$ from tire rack (www.tirerack.com). if you heat using a hairdryer first, the paint shouldn't crack.
